Our Religion is Kindness
A message from Susan Ross:
The volunteers and readers of Suspended Coffees come from all walks of life. We may be Christian, Jewish, Muslim, atheists, etc., but on this website, our religion is Kindness. Although some of our posts may have ties to specific religions, that is incidental to the the post’s message of kindness. Kindness is a personal choice. It doesn’t require a belief in a deity. It doesn’t require money. It doesn’t require status. It may require courage. It may require integrity. It may require inspiration. It may require determination. Or it may just require a minute of your time.
Our purpose is to share acts of kindness by anyone, anywhere. We hope our posts will inspire you, our readers, to pay attention to those you meet on life’s journey, regardless of race, religion, culture, or financial or social status, or, for that matter, whether human or animal. Give someone down on their luck a helping hand. Give a stray a home. Or simply bring a little joy into someone’s life with a smile or a cup of coffee. Every act of kindness, no matter how small, makes the world a better place for everyone.
