what can I do as a volunteer?
we need experienced people to help our busy Facebook Manager with identifying appropriate content, as well as responding to messages and posts. We also need people who are proficient with Twitter and Instagram.
we'd like to hear from people who excel at blog writing, and who would be able to submit a blog post for our website at least twice a month. WordPress experience is a plus.
we constantly need to check and review the information we hold about participating businesses. This role is allocated on renewable short-project basis. Typically we'll ask you to check the information for up to 10 businesses at a time.
one of the most important things you can do is to help share the Suspended Coffees message in your community, and especially with local, privately owned cafés. what skills do I need?
We're looking for people with excellent verbal and written communication skills. English is the first language for most of our cafés and followers, and therefore applicants must be fluent. Knowledge of one or more additional languages is desirable but not essential. Social media and blog writing volunteers will need to demonstrate their previous experience.

are there any salaried opportunities?
Unfortunately the answer to this is a resounding 'no'. We are a volunteer run organization and all positions are unpaid.
